Washington DC Take 2

Our first stop was the Air and Space Museum. When he was growing up Russ loved studying the weather. He also loved rockets and used to build and then launch lots of different model rockets.

This is the original frame of the Wright Brother's first plane.

Model Rockets

Russ couldn't quite get his arm around the Washington Monument. Maybe next time.

The capitol building. Last time I was in Washington the year was 1987 and I got to see one of the greatest presidents ever- Ronald Reagan. It was a bit of a different feel this time.

We got to the metro station at 9:30 a.m. and didn't get back till 5:30 p.m. ... and William was still smiling. :)

We had to wait almost an hour for our hotel shuttle to come pick us up. Daddy was not smiling.
