Swinging at the Red Oak Park

Here are some pictures of William's first swing ride. He seemed to like it. That day also happened to be his 14 month birthday.

Just for fun

The Little Gym

I belong to a stay at home mom’s group called Crayola Moms. They do lots of fun things together and once in a while William and I go along. Recently we went to "The Little Gym". William had lots of fun crawling on the mats and pulling up on various padded apparatus. We got to see Marymiller and her son Hylan while we were there. Marymiller is a friend I met through Russ. She and her husband had Hylan just two weeks before Russ and I had William. Both of our boys were due on the same day. It’s been fun getting to know Marymiller and Hylan and watching William and Hylan “play”.

North Carolina First Bithday

Since we have family in two different states William got to have two first birthdays. I don’t think he minded much. All the Ayscues were able to come to the party plus our good friends Mike and Barbara and Brenda and Richard. Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures of everyone.

William has lots of great Uncles. Uncle Kerry is one of them. He always gets down and plays with William and I love watching them interact.

Two of my Cute Nephews, Jake & Stan

Playing Cowboys & Indians with Stan

Grandparents and Friends

Well, once again, it’s been awhile since I posted. Hopefully I’ll get through the St. Louis posts today. I still have William’s North Carolina birthday to post from way back in mid March. A more current post would be the pics from Washington DC. We visited this past weekend. Our nation’s capitol is less than 4 hours away!! When William gets bigger we can decide to go to the Smithsonian for the day and come back
that night. How fun would that be?

We didn’t get to visit nearly as many friends as I would have liked to, but we were glad to see those we did. Mrs. Redburn gave William a neat book for his birthday.

William loved playing with Peter, and Peter liked playing with William, I think.
