In May we traveled to Denise and Kerry's for a combined Mother's Day/80th Birthday celebration for Mom Ayscue and a trip to the NC Zoo.

For a week before we left William had been suffering from the affects of 3 weeks of antibiotics and could not keep anything in his tummy.  Thankfully his little system was back to normal the day after we arrived.

We Celebrated the Goodness of God to Us with a trip to Tweetsie Railroad the day after William's PIC line was removed.

 

 

 

Grand Illumination

We were able to see the Grand Illumination at Williamsburg this year.  We tried to see it when William was about 10 months old.  We booked a hotel room for two nights and got to the historic area in plenty of time.  However, William let it be known that Illuminations were not his thing.  Loud and persistant crying drove us back to our hotel room.

Several years later he decided he really like the illumination.  We did too.
