St. Louis Museum of Transportation
There
are a few things William absolutely loves.
He loves any type of trains or planes and he also loves to cook, more on
cooking later. When we were in St. Louis
we took him to the Museum of Transportation.
Why we left his coat at home I will never know. However, I did have extra clothes so he has
lots of layers on which was a blessing considering it was sleeting while we
were there. Why we went to an outside
museum in the sleet is another question that has no answer.

Gallagher's
We all went to dinner at Gallagher’s restaurant in Waterloo,
IL. We love their family style, fried
chicken dinner. I guarantee you’ve never
had this type of fried chicken or mashed potatoes before, unless you came to
our wedding dinner reception. Then you
have.

Christmas Snow
We spent Christmas in St. Louis this year and had an
extended family reunion with our cousins from NC and our Uncle George from
OH. It’s funny to think of how small our
extended family was when I was growing up when I compare it to how big our
children’s extended family is. I had one
aunt & uncle and 3 cousins. William has
14 aunts and uncles and at least 24 first cousins and 5 second cousins, most of
whom are on the Dickmann side. We had
kids galore at Christmas. Fun times.
Oh, and it snowed while we were there so the kids from NC got
to play in Christmas snow!
